Che-Bianca Evason

Keeping up your fitness levels while exploring the world is something I encourage each person to do at least once in their life.
She has visited 133 countries on all seven continents and has yet to turn 30.

Assistant Spa Manager, World Residensea

Che-Bianca Evason currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa, serving as Assistant Spa Manager at World Residensea. While she has worked in the spa industry for seven years now, it was not her first career.

For three years, Evason studied 3D animation and film in South Africa. “Being the only female in my class I felt that I represented women in a predominantly male industry. I loved the creative side of the animation industry as well as the technical aspects of creating something from an imagination. However, making individual differences to other humans on a daily basis was more enticing. I have a strong healing calling and social skill ability of interacting with people. I enjoy being involved in the latest trends and changes within the Health and Wellness industry, regularly monitoring positive opportunities that affect lives for the better in the stressful fast paced world we live in today.”

Outside of the spa, travel is often a favorite hobby for many on People of ISPA. Che-Bianca, however, has visited 133 countries on all seven continents and has yet to turn 30. “This has been the most incredible experience of my life. Traveling the world and interacting with different cultures has made me the person I am today. There are still so many places on my list to visit and I truly do believe that travel is the healthiest addiction there is.

My advice would echo the quote, ‘Travel is a book and those who do not travel, only read one page.’ Travel as much as you can, as far as you can.  Each place on earth has a beauty in its own way, appreciating each culture and country for what it offers is identifying real beauty.”

In addition to her travel, Che-Bianca is extremely active in the sporting realm as well. “Kitesurfing is a new sport I have recently taken an interest in, however diving, surfing and practicing yoga in different locations worldwide are also favorites of mine. One of my goals is to become a master dive instructor. It’s super motivating for me and it's a great way to see life from a different perspective.

The stillness of nature takes your breath away when you venture past your comfort levels. Hiking the Great Wall of China in April 2017 and seeing the world's wonders makes you realize what a magnificent mother nature we have, and how we need to preserve it to the best of our ability. Keeping up your fitness levels while exploring the world is something I encourage each person to do at least once in their life.”
